Oyaide Across 3000

The Oyaide Across 3000 speaker cable was created using the experience gained from Oyaide's long history of cable design. The new Oyaide Across 3000 is constructed using 'precision conductor 102 SSC' conductor, as well as advanced heat control and extrusion technology. The Across 3000 utilizes a 3.0 sq mm conductor (about 12.4 AWG) and advanced technology for vibration control. This is a low capacitance speaker cable design, that works exceptionally well for LONG runs, where other higher capacitance cables may cause amplifier instability.

The first ACROSS series appeared in 2006 with a cross insulating structure (CIS) structure with a damper on the air layer. The performanceof this cable was widely regarded as outstanding, by the audiophile community. However, the first generation ACROSS series was last manufactured in 2013 due to the termination of the PCOCC conductor.

Oyaide then produced their "precision conductor 102 SSC" to replace the PCOCC-A and bagan to manufacture the new ACROSS 3000 speaker cable using this conductor, as well as a patented technique of Misu wire "3 E twisted". This technique adopts the world's first high-density, multi-diameter conductor 3E twist structure that increases the density and bundle roundness stabilizing the electrical characteristics of the conductor.

Two annealing processes are used to reduce mechanical stress distortion of the strand. Conductivity achieves 102.3% IACS.
