VH Audio strives to have the largest selection of IN-STOCK audiophile parts and accessories on the web, with competitive prices and reasonable shipping charges. However, we understand that other companies may, from time to time, offer products at a slightly lower price. VH Audio has developed a new pricing policy in order to ensure "price" isn't the only factor, when you choose to do business with VH Audio.
Subject to the following terms, we will meet any advertised competitor pricing on new, identical, IN-STOCK products.
1) The advertised pricing must be in U.S dollars, and for the same quantity you order. 2) The item must not be discontinued or "B-stock", nor may it be part of a "liquidation" of inventory. 3) Online classifieds, auctions, and e-mail solicitations are excluded from this offer. 4) We cannot match pricing by rogue dealers who advertise prices outside of manufacturer M.A.P. policy agreements. 5) Our price matching policy applies ONLY at the time you place your order 6) Requests made outside the spirit of this policy will be rejected. Common sense will apply.
To take advantage of our price matching policy, simply cut/paste the website URL of our competitor's pricing into the "special instructions" field of our online checkout form, and note which items are referred to in the ad. Continue to checkout normally, and we'll refund the difference to your credit card the next day (after credit card batch settles), or will refund to your PayPal account within one business day. If there is any discrepency subject to the terms above, you will be contacted before your order ships.
Terms and conditions
All VH Audio manufactured/finished cables in STOCK sizes and configurations come with a 60-day satisfaction guarantee. If you aren't delighted with your VH Audio cables or interconnects, simply request a return authorization within 60 days of your purchase date, and we'll cheerfully refund your purchase price, less shipping costs (OUR cost to send to you, if your order qualified for free shipping) and transaction charges (Paypal, Visa, MC). This offer applies to the FIRST order of a particular cable. Subsequent orders of the same cable model are NOT eligible for return, unless defective. Accessories including isolation devices, shelves, power strips, conditioners, and electronic devices may be returned in original (new) condition with original packaging and manuals within 30 days of ORDER DATE for a store credit.
Individual electrical parts (plugs, connectors, capacitors, receptacles, wire/cable, etc) are NOT returnable, unless defective. Special allowances may be made on a case-by-case basis.
If an entire order is returned, our actual shipping costs to you will be deducted from the credit, if your order qualified for 'free' shipping. If partial order is returned, shipping will only be charged if the returned portion of the order would have brought the original order down below the $100 order threshhold for free shipping (U.S.).
Great care is taken to prevent physical and cosmetic damage to the goods when they are shipped to you. We expect the same consideration by asking you to use the same internal packaging as originally delivered (including the bubble wrap on cable ends/labels), and internal packing peanuts. Returns that do not follow this condition will be rejected, or will be subject to a 20% restocking charge, at our discretion. Items valued over $300 must be sent back INSURED, or you will be at risk for the loss/damage.
International returns MUST be sent via US Postal Service and NOT through any private courier such as UPS or FedEX. If shipped via private courier, refund will be delayed and customs and/or courier brokerage fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
ALL RETURNS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A RETURN AUTHORIZATION, OR THEY WILL BE REJECTED.
>>> IMPORTANT <<< Our responsibility for damaged or lost merchandise ends after we deliver to courier. Unless you purchase shipping insurance (contact us for pricing), all shipment loss or damage is at your (buyer's) risk. FIRST CLASS Internaitonal mail is UNINSURABLE and is always sent at BUYER'S risk. There is a reason it is uninsurable: It is most susceptible method to experience delays and loss, and since there is NO TRACKING, we have zero control what happens, and no recourse with the USPS once we drop-off to the Post Office.
>>> ALSO IMPORTANT <<< As of October 11th, 2019, PAYPAL no longer refunds their transaction fees that are charged to the merchant (in this case, VH Audio), when a refund is made, or a transaction is canceled after it has 'settled'. These fees range from 2.9% for US transactions to 4.4% plus a fixed fee, based on currency received for international transactions. All returns or order cancellations that are not converted to a VH Audio store credit, will have these fees deducted from the refund amount. Please consider this carefully, before using PayPal, and we strongly urge our customers to use credit card instead, if you don't wish to assume this risk. If this becomes a problem for VH Audio customers, VH Audio will no longer accept PayPal as a form of payment. It's a tough reality of being a small business, and being creamed by all the 3rd parties looking to get their 'cut' of the transaction. We simply can't 'keep the lights on' by paying PayPal for the privilege to accept their payment terms, when credit card companies don't try to 'gouge' customers & merchants like this...
