The Acoustic Revive SIP-8F, BSIP-2, shorting plugs operate on several levels: They keep the inside of of your RCA and XLR connections from collecting dust; they prevent unwanted airborne RFI from entering the inputs of your equipment, and they mechanically dampen these connections with special materials, thereby mitigating unwanted resonances and physical interactions between your component's chassis and RCA and XLR sockets. Please note the BSIP-2 and SIP-8F are for INPUTS ONLY.
