Importance of a quality power supply connection is widely accepted today. Many enthusiasts set up dedicated lines exclusively for their audio system, so the quality of the AC Receptacle cannot be ignored. Conventional "hospital grade" receptacles can improve the security of contact, but for the sound quality, they are far from perfect. Oyaide developed an exclusive design specifically for audio components. They selected specific materials for their purpose in every section, and offer several options of 3 critically important plating methods to the receptacles, in order to satisfy different tastes in sound and music. The entire series is totally non-magnetic in order to minimize disturbance from magnetic fields.

Base Material- Highly (twice) polished deoxidized Phosphorus Bronze (Beryllium Copper for the R1) for the most secure contact (20Amps).

Mounting Bracket- 24k gold plated Brass fittings for strength and durability.

Body/ Insulator glass filled Nylon for high rigidity, resonance absorption and safe insulation.

Oyaide R1
Highly (twice) polished Beryllium Copper base metal, plated with platinum, and then finish plated with palladium. Surface is thoroughly polished (twice) before each plating process.

Oyaide SWO-DX
Extra thick (1.5 micron) Silver base plating and Rhodium plating (0.3 micron) to finish. Surface is thoroughly polished (twice) before each plating process.

Oyaide SWO-GX
Extra thick (2 micron) 24k Gold plating directly. Surface is thoroughly polished (twice) before each plating process.

Oyaide SWO-XXX
Super thick (1.5 micron) 24k Gold base-plating and Palladium plating (0.3 micron) to finish. Surface is thoroughly polished (twice) before each plating process.
